and you ask them "Where's the sound?"
Unlike the country christmas lights
The birds have all come down.
I looked into a band my mother once knew called the Throwing Muses. They have an interesting writing style (very 80s alternative, mixed with a bit of folk). I tried writing some songs myself with that style (ofcourse, I'm less cutting-edge and more traditional) and it came out rather well. I want to record a lot of it, and I'm really liking it.
I went to the beach, used no sunscreen at all and now I have a nice tan. Not sunburn. It was fun to shove my tan in the faces of all the family members who said I would get sunburn if I didn't put on lotion.
Haha, yes, good fun.
The bass guitar is fun. You guitarists out there shouldn't limit yourself, open your minds. Drums are fun too. I suck at them, but I love to play them. Sometimes I air drum and pretend the be like Bonham. Also, buy a mandolin. Those things are king.
And yes, I air guitar, and air bass, and air keyboard.
Air keyboarding rocks, by the way. I love it. If I could air keyboard for a living that would be quite the life.
Do you air keyboard?

I had a dream. Crazy dream.
Anything I wanted to know, any place I needed to go
Hear my song. People won't you listen now? Sing along.
You don't know what you're missing now.
Any little song that you know
Everything that's small has to grow.
I went out to pawn shops and played various basses and bought the one that felt best
Fenders are always good, so are Peaveys, when it comes to basses.

And I'm grateful that you threw away my old shoes
And brought me here instead dressed in red
And I'm wondering who could be writing this song.
