Woo! Bonham and I!

Wed Aug 2, 2006, 11:29 AM
I'm playing with John Bonham :D haha well, not really. I just wanted a drum part to play SOMETHING so I looked up drum parts and found a buttload of Bonham (from Led Zeppelin) recordings and I just had to use one XD.

I just played whatever came out, it's kind of simple and dull but oh well

And I'm grateful that you threw away my old shoes
And brought me here instead dressed in red
And I'm wondering who could be writing this song.

Yeah, but nothing at all like that. I was thinking of making more recordings like that, but I would have to keep puting Bonham drum recordings up, or actually go into a recording studio with a drummer (which I can't do, considering I'm broke).

Here's something that I did with an electric, an acoustic and a bass: [link]

forgive the bass playing I didn't feel too sober when I did that part.

Not that I wasn't or anything ! *looks around nervously* heh heh.

hey, i'm rarely sober when i play and/or record music.
nothing wrong with that.
i just add lots and lots of sound to cover up mistakes...

i liked that other piece too.

Yeah, I suppose that's why the Grateful dead sounds so good (many members, many sounds), and the sex pistols music sounds quite professional for their type of music.. but then again classic punk was supposed to be sloppy-ish.

non-sober music, yes, good stuff

it's the idea of punk. just balls out rock, whether you can play or not..

there's something about the way one hears music when they're not sober that is so much different..
i like it.
