Thick as a Brick

I was having a loooooooong weekend, and I have a looong-ass day waiting for me tommorow. So on the way back up into the mountains today I listened to the Jethro Tull album "Thick as a Brick" and I just kinda wished that life was like that album, and it would go on forever, and I wouldn't have to stop listening.

I feel like hugging that whole god damn band.

Children go to education to build stability for future drug money.

I wish blind people could use the internet. I wonder if that would change a few people's lives in a big way.

In the 70s, if they couldn't classify your music into any of the regular genres, you were progressive/art rock.

Let's see.. Oh right.

I got two new albums this weekend! One was Jethro Tull "Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970". They were sandwiched between the Moody Blues and Jimi Hendrix. Now, I must say, this CD is most kickass. Any Jethro Tull fan should love it, and anybody who doesn't like Jethro Tull doesn't deserve to enjoy how wonderful this CD is.

I might just like it because I adore live recordings, but whatever. :)

The other one was the best of Faces. FACES.

FACES!!

That was Rod Stewarts band before he went solo. I'm pretty sure Ron Wood was in their before he went with the rolling stones, too. *checks* ok yeah he was. This album is kickass for reasons that you have to HEAR.

Anyway, this weekend I went to VA and hung out. Almost saw a Jazz band, but I didn't.

  • Listening to: The Faces (my new CD!) - Too Bad
