why is that a mandolin on his head?and did you have anybody in mind?

Sie sind die Musik, während die Musik dauert.
I'm not sure why I put the mandolin on his head. I suppose once I drew him, it seemed to me like he was thinking about something. Just a few moments before I drew it I was playing the mandolin so I suppose I had that thought on my mind.
I don't think I had anyone in mind while I drew this, but you never know.
